The scenery in the Bukit Merah Laketown, this is the jetty going to Orang Utan island.

The five of us attending the course.
After the trip to Bukit Merah, I had to unpack and pack for the next trip- Biro Tata Negara trip in Ulu Kenas, Kuala Kangsar. Um...Hrm...Um...Hrm, I won't touch much on this camp. I think those in Msn have heard enough on my grumbles and complaints on this. I spent 5 days there and it reminded me back on my my university life staying in the hostel. However, this is worse I think, 10 people sharing a dorm, the bathroom without shower (yes, just with a tap above), the spicy and oily food, the 'sweetest' drinks I have ever had (now I know why so many M'sians have diabetes), and last but no least, the morning moral classes at 6.15am. What I got/learned from the camp? Although I had a lot complaints on this camp, I did gain a little from it. It did motivate us and let us realize the important of team work. I managed to know a bunch of new friends from different fields. The jungle tracking on the last day was fun also although it's a bit though. With the help of the guys, we, gals managed to make it at last~ Yeah, I think this is the best part for the whole camp :)
I was extremely exhausted after the camp. I need to unpack and pack again for my next trip to Langkawi island. It's a 3-day Pharmaceutical Care course. This is my first trip there. Eeling and I took a bus to K.Perlis, and from there, we took the ferry to the island. It took us almost 6 hours to reach Awana Resort. The resort was great with we managed to get a sea-view room with two queen-size bed (we should bring our friends here^**^). However, throughout our stay there, it was raining most of the time. Further more, we didn't have much own time. We spent most of our time listening to 'lectures'. We managed to spare out one of the evenings to go to the town for some shoppings. I grabbed some chocolates back which I think can last me for few months, haha. The food there was fantastic, we had six meals per day. Yeah, this is also one of the reasons why the obese people in M'sia is getting more and more. I gained one kilo after all these trips. Sigh, I promise myself I really need to restrict what I eat after I come home from that trip. I want to 'remove' all those fats from my body...haha.

Awana Porto Malai Resort

Boats at the jetty outside the resort.
Now, I'm back home, enjoying the holidays until this Sunday, then I have to go back to Grik. It had been a tiring time for me these few weeks. I really need to 'recharge' my energy now. However, I really feel grateful for all the great moments I had all these while. I met up with lots of old friends and also got to know a few new friends. I really gain a lot working in a new place with new environment, new friends and new jobs. Life is always changing, what I can do is to cherish every moment and gain the most from it.
